Malawi
In the summer of 2018 a group of volunteers from St Lawrence Church travelled to Malawi to work on projects with communities in Malosa. This followed a successful trip in 2014 and this time the team was were able to witness the differences the work made following that first trip, and they were able to renew friendships and to strengthen the existing link.
Malawi is one of the least-developed countries in the world and does not have the infrastructure or facilities that we in the West take for granted. The good news is that aid workers and charities are working alongside the people of Malawi to help improve things - but there is still much that needs to be done.
Please see the posters for further information. They are also on display in the church hall.
Report on the 2018 visit to Malawi - written for the church magazine following the visit.

- You can knit: blankets, vests, jumpers, etc
